Hope hubs and wheelstes

I have a problem with creecking noises from my rear wheel. Had it once before and had the wheel rebuilt - sorted the problem. But its back.

Anyone having the same problem? My setup is Hope hub with Mavic 819s. I've greased and oiled the hub and freehub and still the noise.

Advise anyone?

Try knocking out the old bearings smearing a thin layer of grese or copperslip and pressing the bearings back.

 

Maybe oil the nipples with a light oil and the spoke heads (just a thought) could get a bit dusty though, start at one point and eliminate as you go along
