Azonic Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I have head a few stories before... One was to wash the tyre under a tap with a bit of soap, I'd assume something like Sunlight Liquid. What I always do is the hard way, rubbing it off with a rag and/or your thumb. Takes 30 minutes per tyre, easily, but the satisfactions of getting it clean and redoing it with fresh latex makes it worth it.
Guest coenie Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Try some turps, on a wrag and then wipe it.....it seems to soften the glue and then you can wipe it of the tyre.

Azonic Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 It isn't available in any shops at the moment, still trying to set that up. Right now its marketed directly from the website (www.stayseal.co.za). Its all still very new so trying to figure out what courier costs will be etc. It is shipped from PE, so it won't make economic sense to just buy one bottle and with shipping it will come to be more than what a bottle of (overpriced Stans) will cost at the local shop. If you take like 2 (1 litre) bottles, then it starts to work out cheaper. I'll get back to you on courier costs, going to phone around now.
