jarek.pski Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Oh man what an amazing time I had!!Started in group OC at 9h41 (first race on a RaceTec), and what a bunch I had with me hahaha... too-too batmans, supermen, chickens :-) cows the lot... What an awesome jol, battled the traffic and managed 4h 09min 09sec in the end... best spent Sunday in my entire life!! Peace ppl

As this was my first RaceTec race I couldn't get a proper seeding so was stuck in O groups, perhaps it was a lil fun I must admit, but sometimes it did my head in.... nom nom nom

Andrew_ew Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 As this was my first RaceTec race I couldn't get a proper seeding so was stuck in O groups, perhaps it was a lil fun I must admit, but sometimes it did my head in.... nom nom nom also my first race with racetec (and also new to road cycling so not much opportunity yet to do seeding races) so also stuck in OC - traffic also did my head in - having to keep applying brakes going up suikerbossie was a particular low light - and I am a slow climber - but hey I had a great time and know now how important it is to get a decent seeding to escape the traffic

I enjoyed the ride, stopped at a few waterpoints, hi-fived a couple of spectators and had a hard 40km/h time trial down Beach Road to get in under 4:30. Argus is the only road race I do every year so don,t think I'll have much chance of improving my seeding. I really hope all the out-of-towners had a good stay and a great race. Don't know when we'll see weather like this again!
