No problems. Spent the last 16 years in RSA. The first four in PMB, the last two in JHB and all the rest in the Outer West. Know Delcairn well - sent my eldest to St Mary's DSG Kloof before we moved. The only biting I'm worried about is snake bites :D

My wife used to work at SMDSG a few years ago! I read the refferance to Club kit. I am new to the road scene and a friend of mine told me about having to ride in club colours. What is that all about? A bit like belonging to a gang! I have a MTB background and "we" can ride in whatever er we like!

Nah, nothing as cool as that

It's essentially for club organised rides - so the Marshalls/Support Vehicles can give priority to their own members...

Many will dispute the validity of this rationale but hey, that's for another thread!

I ride in whatever's clean if not riding with the club... :)

There are rides leaving from Oscars (Hillcrest) at 05h30 Friday (small group) and 05h30 on Saturday (larger group). Both rides are heading inland on the Amashova route and around Lion Park. Mainly consisting of Mr Price club riders. Medium pace, +/- 3hrs with a stop off in Camperdown for coffee. Rides for the following week will be discussed on the Saturday ride. There's also a ride organized by Marty's Cycles leaving Suncoast Casino at 05h30 on Friday going out to Stanger and back. Medium pace +/- 5hrs. Some riders will turn at Balito for a +/- 3hr ride.Bring It On Cycles usually depart from the Spar in Kloof at 05h00 on the weekends for their rides. Depending on the group these can be either medium or medium/hard rides.

TRI-X is leaving La Lucia Virgin Active car park on friday am at 5;30 am ..riding the first section of the tour durban route..about 70 kms , med pace ..coffee back at the Fego cafe in Glenashley ...

Thanks Guys,

Phone Darrell at "Bring it on" 031 764 1937, or his cell 083 262 9109

He will let you know the weekend ride plans... you'll have lots of laughs, and pace varies, but if you are struggling they regroup at the top of the hard climbs.... if they are stuggling, then please wait for them at the top of the hard climbs!!!!

Dont worry about that kit zenophobia down here... just drop pitch up in Teesav shorts!!!!

I'm away so unfortunately cant assist.....

The pace will be fairly hard, as its tour durban next weekend and they will be blitzing a bit!!!

Hey Lou,

My boss man & his group ride( Mr Price) are riding offroad the next few days, so it won't be good for you.

Sorry for that.
