GARMIN FORERUNNER 305 -

hey everyone

 

Can someone please tell me if the garmin forerunner 305 (the red cheaper one) also calculates your running distance as you go WITHOUT a foot pod?

 

I know that the orange 310 one does this.

yes it does as it is a gps

Yes it does. The footpod option is only for those who like to run in forests, cities with numerous tall skyscrapers or indoors on treadmills where the wrist unit cannot get satellite signal.

 

Be aware that the battery life is said to be 10 hours but the 310XT it is 20 hours.
