Cannondale Jekyll 700 vs Scott scale 70

Hi

I want to use one of these for xc racing. The scott is brand new from the shop and the cannondale is second hand though. Both are for exactly the same price. Do you mabye know the weight of these too?

The Jekyll, just by virtue of being dual sus, will be better suited to all the XC courses.

What year is that Cannondale Jekyll? 2001? Lefty is probably a DLR, and servicing those old forks are becoming a problem in terms of spares. Also the technology of the internals has moved on a lot since there, and Lefties after 2005 can be upgraded / updated with latest internals, but not these older ones ( I am sitting with one)

 

It you want to go the used 'dale XC route find a more recent model Scalpel

 

Otherwise that new Scott HT looks okay
