OK....another tubeless conversion thread, but I’m new to this and need help.

Will I be able to use my current Maxxis Aspen tyres (26”) with a tubeless conversion kit, or has anybody else used these Aspens successfully in a tubeless setup? I don’t want to buy UST/LUST tyres yet....till these Aspens’s are well used.

Yep I am running two pairs - one on my Stan's race wheels and on normal Shimano MT15 wheels.

Just used tubeless valves and tape over the spokes together with the included rim tape and bobs ur uncle ! For most rims, tape over the spokes with a tubeless valve and stans yellow tape should work well.

Tyre should go on and off by hand easily.

Just make sure you coat the sidewalls with sealant as they are porous so need a bit of time to seal but after that you shouldnt have any issues.

To me they are great tyres and cheap locally, have used them in gauteng without issues, only got a small cut from glass yesterday.
