Hi guys

 

Im quite new to cycling and I need supplement advice :

 

1. What to use before a race

2. What to use during a race

3. What to use after a race

 

Any and all advice will be very much appeciated :thumbup:

welcome to the hub.

 

experiment, find out what works for you. one thing may work for someone while another may not even be able to stomach it.

 

at this point, though, getting different sachets of various products is probably going to be better than committing to a tub of stuff that costs an arm and leg and turns you green.

My Advise is eat well before the race and then the supplements needed will depend on the length of race you are doing.

The sachets do not really do it for me.

Normally use around 1000 Calories per hour during a race. The energy gels normally gives around 100 calories so you will have to take quite a few along if you want them to supply yore energy.
