Nic0000 Posted July 5, 2011 Share So I down loaded this app for my Blackberry. Called GPS Logger. Wow! Its awesome. The amount of data you can get from it. It tracks speed, route, distance, altitude, total ascent/descent and so forth. I'm not too sure how it compares to specialised Cycle GPS units but considering it costs nothing, I'm more than happy. The best part is you can export the files and over lay them on Google Earth:-) Another plus is it can automatically mail someone your GPS co ordinates at certain intervals or send an emergency mail if you stay in one location for a set amount of time! Awesome for rider safety:-) So here's the link if anyone wants to give it a bash - http://www.emacberry.com/gpslogger.htmlIf you don't come right here, just google it. Works with all BB that are GPS enabled (All except 8520) and I think all other smart phones that are GPS enabled or have "GPS-A" Enjoy!
Tankman Posted July 5, 2011 Share The emergency gps email sounds like a good idea, just don't stop over at the skelempie for too long then! Also check out Endomondo & SportyPal Actually checked out their screenshots now and they are way behind on Endomondo and SportyPal. You have a web interface with both of those and much more user friendly. Edited July 8, 2011 by Tankman
