So I guess it is a bit of hit and miss then? Seems Schwalbe is not a bad buy and the ZX seems to be quite good.

Surely it depends on where you ride.? If your usual route is full of potholes and broken glass and I ride on a nice smooth highway type road, my tyres, irrespective of brand, will last a lot longer than yours (puncture wise) simply due to the environment they are used in.

 

Just because someone had 10 punctures in a week, doesn't mean it was a bad tyre, there are lots of variables that need to be considered.

 

In my experience they are all much of a muchness anyway, its more personal choice and preference than anything else.
