banna Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 One of my friends has it on his AM bike. He loves it. You can basically change gears regardless of whether the chain is under load or not. You can even change gears while back pedalling. So it's an interesting piece of kit. It does however weigh quite a bit more than a normal crank, and I'm not sure how many bike shops can actually support it in terms of maintenance.

Additionally, it makes a noise when in one of the cogs. My assessment. Ease using gears 10/10Increased clearance 10/10Value for money 1/10Cool factor 11/10.Weight 5/10Maintenance? 1/10
