TREK FUEL EX - To Buy or not to Buy

Can someone give me their opinion. I'm looking at buying a 2nd hand Trek Fuel EX. 2006 model still in very good condition - Shimano tubless wheels, new Shimano XTR derailers front and back Bontrager stem & handlebars and seat post. Sella Italia seat Haynes nine shifters. for R 9 500.00.

 

The Bike was to small for the previous owner so he bought a Scott
