I stand to be corrected but i think the RAF only pays out now if you are permanently injured/disabled, like if you lose a arm or a leg or something like that. However i am not totally sure about this.

 

They cover any past and future medical expenses, mine is the hospital costs for a huge hematoma which formed requiring me to be operated on twice, only thing i lost was blood when they opened it up.

Sorry to hear RE your injuries .... pedestrians are the most dangerous element on the road for a cyclist.

 

My worst accidents / falls have been directly linked to some pedestrian be a chop.

Nope. All I lost was 13 teeth.

 

Yeah, but I assume it was some time back, over a year for sure?. From my information, there are complete new set of regulations regarding the act as of early 2011, so when in the past they may have covered you for say a broken arm, it may not be covered now. I do believe you need some sort of permanent injury now to claim.
