Kinesis are anything but the new kid on the block.

For years they made some of the best value for money alu bikes in the world - now they make some of the best alu and carbon value for money bikes on the world.

The old alu Raleigh RM9 was made by Kineses - look for their stamp on the stays...

If memory serves some Giant staff left in the late 80's to start Kinesis. Great bikes at great prices without the "no name brand" problem.

I'd stock them if I were you.

I run a cycle store in bloemfontein and I received a catalogue from kinesis south africa, is it worth stocking up?

If you stock Bicycles for sale in you bike shop you have been selling Kinesis frames for a long time now. As Eldron states the connection between Giant and Kinesis below I think the two factories are right next to each other where Diamondback Bicycles, Felt Bicycles, GT Bicycles, Schwinn, Jamis, K2, Raleigaand Trek.

Agreed but I don't think South Africans are ready for Kineses bikes yet - the "average" South African seems to be happier paying R20,000 for a Kinesis bike with Felt/Specialised/Pinarello paintjob and decals than R10,000 for the same bike in Kinesis livery.
