So Ive read a bit on the topic and just want to hear what is your opinions?

Obviously the important part is on the bike, but what to take? I like 32GI as well as the Hammer perpetuem... Is it neccesary to take anything else? (like a gel or a bar?)

 

Also, with all the stations on the run, what to take there? Only liquids, or get some bananas, gels or bars in?

Refer to the 70.3 post below this one. There has been some discussion on it already. 32GI is fine but try and supplement it with either solid foods like potatoes or something those 32GI chews or even Gu Chomps. I try and hold back on the gels until the run at least.

 

Just dont overdose on the sugary stuff and you can never drink enough water!!!

 

It is too late on the run to eat bananas. At every station drink water and a little bit of coke. If you feel tired then go the gel route.

 

And eat a good healthy breakfast.

I did this basic nutrition outline for Ironman it might provide some value if u r looking at 32Gi as an option ;-)
