Hi

i am interested in buying Zipp 404's. i intend using them for races only. I am a bit uncertain whether to buy tubbies or clinchers with the tube inside. i am afraid of having to bail a race with tubbies because of a puncture.

please advise.

You asked the same question yesterday. My advice, if you are not sure whether to take tubbies or clinchers, take the clincher, cause tubbies are for more serious racers (who would know when and why they need the tubbies!). I hope this will aid you in your endeavors to procure an awesome wheelset such as Zipp.

Get the firecrest carbon clinchers.

The ease of clinchers and weight of tubulars. What more could one want?
