Momsen 29er

I'm a total newbie, so please dont shoot me if i step on your toes!

 

I decided late last year that I would move out of the gym environment and onto a MTB. Since I live out at Hartbeespoort Dam it seemed like the perfect opportunity to use the environment around me.

 

I did some diligent research on brands, taking experts (pro-riders, magazine editors etc) opinions into account when deciding on who to spend my hard earned cash on. All agreed that i should be on a hartail 29er becasue I'm not your typical endurance athlete, weighing in at 113kg and standing 1.93cm tall with around 10% body fat at the time, I needed a durable frame that will last.

 

I ended up on the Momsen AL529 with an XL frame, and all I can say is WOW! The bike handles very well for a 29er, its forgiving enough for me to be comfortable even on last weeks 54km ride. I actually enjoyed this bike so much over the December break that im down to 103kg and have over 600km on the saddle.

 

I have received outstanding service from Momsen since my purchase. Victor and his team know what customer service and brand building is all about! I contacted him on numerous occasions on social media, and he replied very quickly during the holiday season.

 

I cant wait to see what they have in store for 2013, and I may even upgrade to the AL729 for Sani-2-C!

And well done on the weight drop!! I dropped 15kg in the 3 years I've riding and I doubt I'll ever stop riding.
