Hey guys

Started using a new saddle (Spez Toupe) on the recommendation that the cutout will relieve the numb feeling.

Well, can't say its solved that problem much, but may tailbone was really sore to the extent that I found it difficult to stand up after being seated and even when going into a lying down position to do situps. The pain is right on the tailbone (bottom of spine)

Anybody else experienced this? Maybe its the new saddle (most likely is), but is this normal?

Taken a break from cycling and its gone away after a week and a half..

Joe, it sounds to me as if you have a bad case of "Above Average Pain In The Arse". (Sorry, couldn't stop myself)

See if it starts hurting again when you ride. Then it is definitely from riding. Next try your old saddle. If it is OK with that, then it must be the new saddle causing it.
