Hey guy and girls as per my topic a while back the committee is asking you guys who would like to be a marshall at the World Cup in March.

If you are keen please drop me a mail (nigel.hicks101@gmail.com) with all your details and dependant on the number of "applicants" we can formulate a specific marshall pack for you guys. Im not sure what it will have exactly - but we will discuss this with you directly once you have applied.

Please say if you want to marshall for the XC or DH. Also we would be looking for a couple of sharp characters to marshall specific points on the XC and DH. these areas would include the Main Rock Garden on the XC ... and the massive finish Jump on the DH ... so we can make it that you are in a cool marshalling spot as well to make the most of your time.

Let me know if you are keen.

Thanks

Nige

What would marshalling entail? I'm keen to maybe give a hand (was going to come up and watch anyway) but only on the 17th and 18th due to work...

hey robin

Im sure thats fine - just drop me a mail and we can take it from there. Marshalling entails having to control a section of track on either the DH or XC and keep the crowd under control and also to warn other riders if someone has crashed etc. The only bummer with being a marshall is that you cant leave your post until the event is completed. But on the plus side you get free entry to the event and a goodie bag with some special marshall only stuff which we are working on
