  1. First my day to day selection and then some more collectable knives I got from the us...
  2. also had some trouble with them in the past. . .but lets leave it in the past
  3. my dikwiel single speed, delivered newspapers with it for 3 years. . .might just need a smaller chainring in front as it has a 52 at this stage. . .and I think a 16 at the back
  4. My single speed. . .used to be an old rusted raleigh dikwiel, I got it form my grandpa when I started delivering newspapers a few years back, Had it powdecoated and polised some of the bits etc. I delivered newspapers for three years making it about 4500km with about 25kgs of newspapers(had a crate in front too) Now I might just use it for the critical mass. . .and best of all it hung in the garage for more than a year, I took ot out and only pumped the wheels and its ready to go, solid bikes these!
  5. For those of yountaht might be intrested in a workshop stand, homemade but top quality, powdercoated and just as portable as those of parktools, and they are RED! Have a look at https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/40791-special-on-arc-service-stands/ Sorry for the highjack on the thread!
  6. Hey guys, I make service stands, very similar to those of parktools and much cheaper! R900 and it has a tool tray! https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/33672-arc-stands-service-stands-bargain-price/
  7. Hi grebel Yes it is the 5 speed, and it gets 13.15l/100km. . .I do use the choke when its cold because if I dont I wont be going anywhere but I use it only when its really needed never drives with the choke on actually. . .with its 49l tank I only get about 380km when I am lucky. . . Buying another car is not an option at this time and if I buy something I would like to get a small bakkie but bigger than an old 1400, something like a corsa or bantam. . . Thanks for the responses so far
  8. Hi guys and girls I know this forum may not be on the right place but I would like to hear what you think. I have a 1998 Volkswagen Citi Golf 1.3 carburetor edition, I bought it earlier this year as my first car. But I only get 7.6km/l! I had it decently serviced to check if some thing was wrong and they found that the timing on the valves was out, they tuned it and I can feel a difference in power. But I still only get 7.6km/l. . .I had the carburetor cleaned and tuned ass well. What do you guys say? Anyone that drives the same car that can give me any pointers? Thanks Wynand
  9. current wife? thingking of trading her in on a racing bike?
  10. I think that is not a crack but only the spot where they join the rim. . .best would be to let your lbs check it out or a good friend that knows his stuff. . .
  11. hubs are universal, its the number of spokes and spoke lenghts that count. . .
  12. Postage is about R100. . .because of the weight. . .
  13. I make service stands similar to those of parktools, works great and only R900 excluding postage. Have a look at www.arcstands.co.za Regards Wynand
