I am there again next week with a late flight out and am hoping to sneak in a quick ride instead of twiddling my thumbs at the airport!

Not sure of the closing time at the moment, but I think it's 6.30 in summer. *Ping patches...There's a perimeter route that leads to all the trails, which are graded green, blue and black. Mostly fast and bermed. Some ladder bridges, gap jumps, pump track. Much fun.

Tumbleweed Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 They're not too dark and dangerous. The gaps don't really have to be jumped. Momentum should carry you over them. Be circumspect on some of the bridges, especially one of the ones on Space Junk (ask Ricky Bobby). Zombie's a blast when you get on top. Technical but not taxing. No shower, but you can give yourself a quick scrub in the gents.

Hairy Posted February 24, 2012 Author Posted February 24, 2012 Good old SAA never came back to me in time RE taking my bike with me on the flight, so there was no cycling for me on this trip. I did however pop into North Cliff cycles for the first time and they sure do have lots of very nice toys in the store!
