On-One getting into tyres too!

On One Tires: Most of you know all about On One frames and components, but On One hopes you will also soon be thinking about tires, (or are they tyres?), when you see their logo. On One’s own Brant Richards and Don “Shiggy” Person have been quietly designing and prototyping tires with Maxxis as the manufacturer for a bit now. The first model to be properly shown off is this one called the “Smorgasbord”, which is a 2.25″er here,but plans are afoot for wider 2.4″ tires as well.

Word is that On One will be doing several types of tires for 26″ and 29″ers. Rumor has it that one of these models, described as a “voluminous casing for rigid riding” sounds especially appealing. With their love of going over the top I am sure when they say voluminous casing it'll be halfway balloon...looking forward to seeing some of these.
