Private owned brands in SA to expensive?

Do the math on the components thats on the bike with prices from the likes of CRC and CWC and see what you come up with (keeping in mind that they have a decent markup on the items allready). The frame appears to be from an open mould and something similiar can besourced from various suppliers for way under R5k landed cost. Yes i agree they put alot of marketing out there and they target oversees markets as well but almost R50k for that bike is way too high.

I think Momsen really rocks the house. If I had known better when starting I could've for a couple of bucs extra got this http://www.momsenbikes.com/bikes.cfm?prod=al300_12 instead of my Trek 4300. Not that I dont like my Trek just my 2c
