Frame & General parts Protector Spray - What to use

If you don't spray something like Q-20 or silicone spray your bike's metal bits/rubber bits/plastic bits start corroding , perishing etc

Q-20 doesn't stay on very long

Silicone Spray leaves slime and its very easy to contaminate the brake pads or generally make stuff slimely all over.

What products , makes/models etc work for this surface protection?

Something that's hopefully not to expensive though quality does cost more and the stuff must last on the bike - ie doesnt get washed off after a little patter of rain on the trail.

Was thinking of maybe trying Meguiars Quik Detailer stuff - will protect and give outstanding gloss , but it may not be the answer

Personally I use Mr Min or some Rally cockpit spray on my bike (frame and parts) every couple of weeks, just don't spray onto the rotors!

Yeah you got to be very careful of rotors esp if the stuff contains PTFE or silicone!!

Mr min works like a bomb.

But the problem with Mr Min and Rally cockpit spray is it gets washed off really easily.

I have noticed Meguiars car products really stay on a long time , was hoping someone may have experience using something like a liquid spray on polish or quick detailler on bikes , should work fine though
