Hello,

Can someone please enlighten me as to what I need to convert a Specialized OSBB frame so that it can take standard DuraAce cranks? I know there is some sort of adaptor that you can get but I'm just not sure what it's called.

Thanks

It seems like I've answered most of my own question... The specialized OSBB is in fact what everyone else calls BB30. So I need a BB30 adaptor. I would still be grateful if someone has a link to one that they could show me so I know that I order the correct thing.

Specialized BB30 frames normally come standard with reducers for GXP cranks, and they are much lighter than the after market ones. Try getting a set from a authorised Spez dealer if your frame did not come with any.

Thanks Gents.

Mine did not and I tried our local (1 and only) Specialized store and the guy there was about as helpful as a chocolate tea pot.

Over the last couple of weeks they have tried to sell my a 58cm frame when I definately need a 61, told me that specialized had stopped making 61cm frames when I asked them to order me one and today told me that no such adaptors exists and I need a specialized crank. Anyway that is a rant for a different day.

In the mean time I now know what I need and will seek out the lightest one I can find.

Cheers
