They are both around the same price, not sure on the weight of the bikes...which would you choose and why?

I would probably go for the Axis, based on the fork.

 

Also depends on overall weight and of course the PRICE

Pretty close on the spec, although the Axis edges the Titan out with the brakes, wheelset and fork.

I'm riding the A10 and loving it, same frame essentially geometry and sizing wise and the handling is superb.

Also, Probike do Axis, so the backup is there, should you need it.

Never ridden the Titan so couldn't comment there, although trying to find their site or any actual info is pretty disjointed. Eventually found their site, but it takes forever.

Better specs on the GT?

Acera, Deore, Rock Shox XC ... Not a chance, both the Axis and Titan are better specced at the price.
