Truvative XO. A bit pricey but I like the bashring built in.

ooh very nice! very similar to an MRP G2 (I run one on my DH bike). I also prefer the guides with a taco in place of the traditional chainring mounted bash guard.

But sadly won't work for trail riders that want a granny gear

Excuse my ignorance but as I hit more bumpy stuff the chain is popping off now more than i'd like...

But will a chain tensioner do the job or are they not very useful compared to full chain guides?

This one?

You said this works for a double up front?

Yarp! That there be the iscg mount version. The one without those 3 slots will mount between your bb and your frame.

Here's the 2x9 setup on my AM bike

I'm running 28T & 36T blackspire chainrings. A straitline alu bashguard and a BB mount blackspire stinger.

When in the 36T the chain runs in the groove of the stinger's roller. When dropping to the small ring, there stinger is designed to run the chain on the "ramped up part", thus keeping the tension.

Yes, crop the pic to hide the grips... because you know that bike needs WHITE ones.....

Ooh, that its very nice Mr. Slick! Very nice indeed!

I wonder if they make a BB mount version, or if they just expect non iscg frames to use an adapter?!

Also being an MRP, I expect that price will be in the region of 1000 ZA Ronds
