Can you change the scale of one axis at a time? or perhaps change the start/end range of an axis? Or select a range on the map/graph and see it highlighted on the other (with min/max/average on the graph)?

Can you create summaries of you data (date ranges, activity type, etc)?

With Garmin having made such a big thing about power training, what power training functionalities (other than power reading on the spot) is available on the Mac version?

These, and a lot more are missing in the Windows version.

All I said is that it was better, not saying it can do anything special :whistling:

If Im following you correctly, then:

Yes, you can scale an axis.

Yes, you can select a range etc and get all that info... But only for the 2 points selected.

No summaries - which really seems rather silly hey!

Power isnt something Im measuring

The 2 points? Intersection of X & Y axis? How about summaries of Y axis based on arbitrary range/selection of X axis?

Yes, the intersection of the X and Y, but you can select two such points, say the bottom of a hill and the summit.

I dont think the summary is possible, but I will check this evening.

i have been using mac for around 7 years, GTC has been unstable from the start and to be honest - storing backups from your garmin is about all its good for.

For offline i use an app called rubitrack, available off the itunes store or their website.user friendly, looks great (inline with other mac apps) and has all the functionality you need, incl power analysis all the graphs , summaries, equipment tracking, etc....

as far as i know it supports all the edge series garmin as well as models from suunto, nike etc....

ascent is also popular, but rubitrack kills it.

the option if you use bootcamp is to run sporttracks. However i prefer to keep bill gates away from my Laptop.
