Hey, so i'm riding my first crit tomorrow, and I'm not sure what do expect/do.

when do i take my energy gels?

How much energy drink must i take?

should i bother taking a power bar with?

how fast are the WCPA races ( avg speed)

should i do a warm up ride ?

quite nervous :wacko:

Josh, the atlantis course isn't really a crit, just a lap race.

it's a 7km circuit, crit circuits are usually 1.5-2.5km

 

Take it as a normal race around a circuit.
