Wiggins looking very strong indeed lets hope he didn't peak to early in the season.

Froome did good too , but i'm very impressed by my favorite domestique Sylvain Chavanel at 6th place

As I understand it, the rounfd helmet is better if you move your head during the TT. If you can keep your head very very still, a pointy helmet is better.

Re. The his hand position, the idea is to block as much free stream air as possible from hitting his crotch. No jokes, your body forms a scoop on the tt bike, drag is less when less undisturbed air hits the scoop. This is why the mantis position of Landis works so effectively. Riders try to get that effect, but still stay within the new uci rules. Zabriskii tts with both hands on top of one another for the same reason, I think.

Evans was not so good today, but it is also possible to be too good, if youraim is the tdf. Cyclingnews said it in one article:

" Evans ceded similar ground in the Dauphiné’s Grenoble time trial last year (he lost 1:09 to Wiggins and 1:20 to Tony Martin over 42.5km), yet by the time he tackled the same course on the final weekend of the Tour, he was just 7 seconds shy of Martin."

I think Evans is slightly behind where he would have liked to be at this point in time, but imo not a big crisis like Schleck, who has more to do if he wants to achieve anything at the tdf.

Twiggo was awesome.

The Great British Hope seems like a real threat.

Even andreas kloden tweeted this on his thingie.

Cadel had a rough build-up with some sinus issues.

He is somewhat undercooked and it is still 6 more weeks until the final TT in le Tour.

I think what we saw on stage 5 will repeat itself in the tdf as well. Sky is a powerhouse team, strong enough to close down any attacks by the other gc contenders. Evans got away with 3 team mates and 3 Liquigas guys including Nibali, in a break of about 13 riders, and still Sky was able to close it down. If that move could not work none will. Thats why I think no long breaks will get away as long as Wiggins is in contension @ the tdf. Sky will control it for Wiggins in the way US postal did for LA, meaning the difference in time will come from the TTs and the 3 mountain top finishes. I hope Evans can beat Wiggins in one of the first 2 TTs, which would make the race much more inteesting.
