Criterium Options

We want to put on a Criterium here in Gabs and I was wondering what options are there to ensure a good event.

I was looking at the scratch/handicap that was held at Zoo Lake.Any thoughts out there

At present going with a 1 to 1.5km route with 1 hour + 1 lap

Any suggestions would be appreciated
