I'm 1.65 and ride a small 'unisex' HT which is just right for me. why not import a frame from CRC? what happens if I import the whole bike from CRC?

I'm no expert but from what I've read the import duties are much higher if you import a complete bike vs components. I seem to recall several pinned posts on the forum about import duties, maybe do a search?
Overlord Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 First get your wife measured and then fitted for a bike. that way you will find the correct size bike. Speak to Line at CWCycles and make the correct choice.

Even though my wife managed to find an XS GTw Sensor 2.0 somewhere else (not sure how she did it, I spent 3 days of phoning around and she showed me how it's done...), Keith was helpful from the start - if anyone else needs bikes for very short people, he might have a few ideas for you! walkerr and akneethling 2

I do like the idea of importing a frame, but then I am not exactly a talent when it comes to building up a bike for her from scratch.... Williams in Somerset West stocks Giant - bit of a drive for you I know. Nice guy though, and very knowledgeable.
