Any body got any experiences with these?

And any idea of what price they go for in local shops? I have found them online at Evans Cycles for instance at R1077 but know the price will differ here.

That sounds like a pretty good price - in the Spez shop here in Waterfall they were a couple of hundred bucks more..

I bought a pair, but had to return as my feet need something wider ... to be honest, feet shape and size make each brand offering a personal affair.

What works great for some, is an agonising pinch for others.

Are you not better off at least trying them on somewhere before you buy?

Yeah, Concept Cyclery crossed my mind when I was thinking of prices for these. I expected it may be quite a bit more. I should tweet or FB them and ask.

Yeah, definitely. I will probably buy them somewhere local too but was just wondering about the price difference and personal experiences. I tend to prefer wider shoes myself as I do not like the feeling of my toes being squashed.

I have had mine for about five months.

Very happy with them. Paid about R1600

Cool. I am reading good reviews and that price is not too bad.

I sometimes see these referred to as BG Comp (Body Geometry) and other times just Comp. Are there two types or are they one and the same?

Been riding in mine for 3 years, brilliant shoes. I had to use a spacer between the cleats and shoe to get the right setup. Have recently had to replace the plastic ratchet straps (@R150). My shoes get used and abused A LOT, these shoes have been great and still look newish. Would I buy another pair? you bet!!!

I also had a look at them before I bought the Specialized.

Personally, I wouldn't buy shoes with a lot of white.

I have a wide foot and my toes are very comfortable in them.

If they fit you nicely, you won't go wrong!

Tried Sidi's, Shimano but found that this shoe fits my broad feet the best. Cant go wrong, be careful of import duty if you buy from Evans, could work out more than what they cost locally

Have them and love them. My ratchet strap on one shoe is a bit... difficult after a muddy ride, but suspect cleaning it out will help.

FWIW - my road shoes are also Specialized - you'll struggle to get me into anything else!
