is it possible to separate the top of the spine protection from the vest in order to slip a Leatt brace inbetween there? (kind of like the Thor Impact rigs)

 

If a Leatt brace has to go on the outside then I find it sits terribly.

Patches - i bought the core saver for my 6 yr old son for BMX racing. He wears a Leatt brace. On the core saver you are able to unclip sections of the spine protector to fit a Leatt brace. I unclipped the two top sections and works fine. You can clip them back in again at a later stage if you need to.
