29er Tubeless Conversion

Got one of these the other day...must have it for trips to Botswana and Mozambique, what a pleasure doing a conversion with it.

I have used wheels with this 'ghetto' type tjoopless before and sure it works but over time the tape 'shrinks' and it may have a tendency to leak later albeit after a long while .....

 

In 3 years I've never had this conversion leak. In fact (and I might be wrong), if the tape shrinks it should sit tighter on the rim and seal even better. I'm not saying it's not the case, but it hasn't been my experience yet.
