Haven't had a problem with Solomons Woodmead.

I've bought plenty stuff from them, they've worked on my bike and I'll go back.

Was that just before you broke your chain at SBR?

I support Solomons all the way, great guys in the shop and always willing to help.

I've bought plenty stuff from them and would recommend them to everyone I ride with.

I got a chance to ride Sani2c this year but was only told about my entry on the Thursday before we had to go down, I popped into Solomons on Friday and he sorted me out with all my spares on an account all I had to do was pay for what I used on Sani2c and bring back or purchase what was left.

I now just pop in to say hi and have a look around to see whats new.

I also have bought various items small and big ticket from Solomans with only good service and pricing. That is with shopping around online and other shops. The slight increase for instant gratification versus shipping time is not overboard. They were also able to source a crank tool specific for old XTR cranks I had, other shops have not yet even come back to me.

Ive only ever had great service from Solomons. I found the parts prices in general to be cheaper than some of the "high end" LBS prices.

Always willing to give a discount.

If I deal with a person, and I get good service, I support them, price is not always the factor to me.Some shops have higer rentals, more stock, and longer working hours .

Leigh s cycles to me ,have always met my high expectations, recommend Jason, in particular.

Have bought from Solomons a couple of times with no issues.

Solomons was about the only bike shop willing to sell a rear wheel without me having to buy a front one as well!

Inexpensive Shimano M475 hubs with inexpensive rims.

Popped in this Morning to quickly check my measurements, thinking I can quickly borrow Aachtar's measuring stuff to confirm my inseam as I couldn't remember....Ashaad immediately helped me with a full measurement then popped it into a computer programme named bikefitting.com. with a printout of my measurements. I told him that they do not stock the brand I was looking for, nonetheless he continued and gave me the same service as if I was about to buy a bike from them. Now that is SERVICE!

BTW for the Triathlete's amongst us they have the Profile Aerobtlles for R49.

Have had an excellent relationship with Aktar for several years. Always found the prices to be very reasonable.

Recently bought my Polaris bike box from them for R3000. It was R4000 at Northcliff Cycles and R2600 odd plus VAT etc from CRC.

Tacx Flow was at least R1000 cheaper than the Lab and also only fractionally more than CRC.

With their move to a much bigger shop recently, there are a lot more staff and it was a bit chaotic on a Sat morning when I visited but am pretty sure they will sort that out quickly.
