Wheels: Crank Brothers Cobolt vs Mavic Crossmax SLR

Howdy

I am inquiring as to what wheel set is better to buy.

i am keen on the Crank Brothers COBALT MTB wheel set

and the Mavic crossmax slr ..

i like the look of both , but was wondering one is superrior to the other.

I want tubeless , lighter thanmy dt swiss that i got at the moment .

If you want a world of problems with reliability and flex get the Crank Brothers. They look amazing but are not the best wheels out there.

I considered the Crossmax wheels, but decided on the new Mavic EX721 rims instead (with Hope hubs). The rims are a lot stronger, wider, and not that much heavier.

From Johan Borman / Yellow Saddle Cycling. If I remember correctly, the rims were R620 each.
