Where to get decent Shin guards

Where in Cape Town or online can I get decent shin guards?

 

My shin had a meeting with a rock last weekend and it came off second best (will also be spending more time on flats so also needed for that), have awesome knee guards so just need the shin guards.

Tried diald bikes, they have knee guards and knee/shin guards, but no shin guards

So if I understand correctly, you want just the shin guard?! I'm guessing to wear with your current knee guards?!

 

Might I ask why?

 

... because in my opinion a knee/shin combo will work better than wearing the 2 seperate parts at once.

 

Plus when one can get brand new Race Face Rally FR knee-shins for R240... why not

Edit: a single unit is better than two separate units - it leaves space for movement and could leave that open space vulnerable.

I just ordered these,I prefer knee gaskets to pads.Using my old vert gaskets with these.Find gaskets easier to pedal with & really just want the shin protection.

Have a set of Race Face Ambush knee pads.

 

Want to be ride with them for most of the time and just put on the shins where I might need them, which may be only midway/to the end of a long ride.

CRC should be here this week,foot came off pedal yesterday jumping off loading docks on my BMX,nice pedal slap.Really do need them .

Have used soccer shins for abit,but they crack if the pedal gives a proper slap
