After I had an almost very nasty spill yesterday, I am very thankful to have walked away unscathed. I went flying over the handles down the side of the mountain and almost landing headfirst, I tucked and rolled thankfully, My second or third impact was this hard blow to my head. It took me about 10 secs to get up made my way to the trail, inspected to body, then realized my head, took of the lid and man I could have had a hole in my head if it wasnt for my Giro Indicator Livestrong and the Almighty. The pic doesnt do justice to the hole as it is about as big as my pinky and fairly deep.

Glad you came away almost unscathed. Could have ended much worse. HELMET DID IT'S JOB!!

Oh yeah, Glad I was wearing it, then again it is one of the most important kit on a bike.
