4 Part series

 

Round 1- 19 Sep, Round 2 – 26 Sep, Round 3 – 10 Okt, Round 4 – 17 Okt

 

 

Categories: This is just a reverence, organizers will place riders according to skill level.

 

A – (Elite,0/23,Junior men, Masters 30+)

 

B – (Masters 40+,0/16 boys,0/14boys, All ladies)

 

C – (All other age groups & MTB riders)

 

D – (Students)

 

 

Race information: A – 30min + 1 lap

 

B – 25min + 1 lap

 

C – 15min +1 lap

 

D – 15min+1lap

 

 

Prize Money up till 10^th place in each category every night of competition.

 

 

Series Winners will receive:

 

Prize Money: A – 1^st = R500 B – 1^St = R350 C – 1^st = R250

 

2^nd = R300 2^nd = R200 2^nd = R100

 

3^rd = R200 3^rd = R100 3^rd = R50

 

Hostel with the most riders taking part over the course of the whole series will win R1000

 

 

Entries for the Series will be: R40 per race

 

R120 for the Series Package (all 4 Races)

 

 

Kiddies will be able to ride in the C category( Parents may ride with there kids)

 

Food Stalls will be available for supper.

 

This event will be fun for the whole family.

I know you said the categories are just for reference, but wow, those 40+ masters are going to trample the under 14 boys! And how do you place riders according to skill level? Shouldn't it be more like performance level?

 

It looks like a great initiative. And it's going to be lightning fast with 30 minutes + 1 lap!

Entry just says from 18:30-20:00 but not start time per group.

Yes , and unfortunately I am one of the 40plussers that got beaten.

But Iam triple his age and double his weight. I think we must start a handicap system according to weight.
