I'd go for the stumpie. Warrantee, cheaper and a better parts spec.

It looks like the shop where the scott was originally bought will still honer the 5 year warranty on the frame etc. I think the scott will be the bike!

Yes i did Karma. As i'm more a racer the Scott works for me. Not that the stumpy will not work. In my min i decided on the Scott but i'm only seeing the bikes on Monday then ill make my final decision.

He'd have to do that anyway... otherwise the claim will be averaged. It's why my crappy old GT dh bike is insured for R 25k. Its replacement is the GT Fury...

 

My bikes are insured on a first loss basis, so if it is insured for R 20 000 that is what I am paid, no average applies.
