FASST Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 So .... Im busy building my Santacruz Blur LTC ... OOOHHH the exitement !!!! Groupset time ! Do I wait for the 2013 XT groupset or do I go with the 2012 .... Does anyone know the difference between the two ... ?
splat Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 (edited) I think the 2013 XT gets a few small additions like Shadow Plus (M786) rear mech with the clutch. I have seen references to a M781 rear mech, but I cant work out what's different to the M780.Bikerumor was talking about direct mount options for the rear mechs as well.And maybe more 2x10 chainring options like 38-24 (I saw that on the 2013 Scott catalog) Edited September 14, 2012 by splat

paulc Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Does anyone know if these shadow plus derailleurs would work with rotor rings? Was wondering if the constantly changing chairing profile and the clutch in the derailleur would play nicely?
