PEDALS - what should i buy ?

Hi Guys

 

I want to buy some new pedals for my road bike.

 

I also use my road bike for triathlons.

 

Any suggestions ?

 

Or any pedals i should stay away from ?

 

Not sure if i should go for Shimano or Look and which model?

I have started using Look Blade, very nice, good comfortable connection and quite a stable platform. Lighter than the shimano 105 and Ultegra pedals I used previously, quite happy with Look.

Speedplay cleats are expensive and scarce. Pedals have to be serviced regularly. They nice and small though and dual entry is a nice feature. I would go with Look's as previously mentioned. Cleats are readily available. Have you seen the prices for Speedplay spares. You might as well buy a new set of pedals.
