splat Posted October 21, 2012 Share I haven't seen one bad review on the Giant Anthem. Those that ride them love them. That tells you something. The Giant seems to be compared to lots of carbon bikes yet it is aluminium (I'm not talking about the carbon Anthem Advance that's very expensive). Can someone explain this to me please. And I read that it is on 500grams heavier than lots of carbon bikes yet far stronger. It seems to have a cult following. The Anthem X Advanced comes in at about R35k with full XT gruppo.I doubts its much lighter than the alu version, but its supposed to be a bit stiffer.
