Always!

And I will always make sure to bring new riders up to speed with fitness and skills.

More and more people are turning to cycling and MTB specifically as a safe and fun form of excersise. However, many dont pull through due to incorrect setups or by bring scared of riding or by simply having a bad ride on their first trip out.

Everybody should be able to enjoy these rides. Nobody is ever too slow or too unfit to do these. The rides will always be free of charge and all I ask is that you show up with a positive attitude. A frown and a moan or the feelin that this is work means you aren't having fun.

I am also working out the details around a couples ride and training day where couples wanting to ride together are given a workshop on how to look beyond the issues of riding together and instead on how to enjoy it. It really does help to bring people closer together.

More will be added and revealed soon.

Good stuff!

I can't relate to the couple stuff but if they wanna be closer then great. I am for now happy looking at brown tanned defined bodies with no faces!

Wrong thread for that. Unless.... That is why you like the road so much and why you like to ride at the back. Sneaky

Well, after a hectic week I can finally see myself clear to riding Saturday. I plan to be there at 6:00 to ride at 6:15. Anyone want to join in?

I am still keen as I have never ridden the spruit before. Not sure where to park? and meet for this ride. What distance are you looking at doing. Im at below average fitness but can handle a 40km....

If you want I am going to be out at about 06:30 07:00 the latest. You are more then welcome to join me. For parking it is easiest to park at the botanical gardens on olifants road and we can then meet there. I am not sure what sir m will be doing

So you're riding from top to bottom then back?

I'm still debating whether tomorrow is a relaxed Spruit day, or if I should hose off the DH bike and hit the Pretoria nationals course

Well it is the way I always ride. From my house up to the gardens then down to fratellis and up to republic then back to emmerentia and up north cliff hill / Alberts farm

@deltaalphamike - Thats the botanical Gardens next to where they had the 702 walk the talk near cresta?

The parking lot for the botanical gardens is on olifants road. That if the road that goes over the dam wall at emmerentia dam. The 702 walk the talk (always screws up resident access not that I am complaining) started from marks park which is next door to the gardens
