  1. 700mm? Do you think you're Greg Minaar or something?
  2. Wolwespruit? And once you adjust your trail expectations you might find the all day epics at van gaalens are something special, more technical than flow but loads of fun. Unfortunately hakahana is no more.
  3. https://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/hope-pro-4-rear-hub-32-hole please
  4. Please, please, https://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/hope-pro-4-rear-hub-32-hole The non boost version
  5. Please can you do the same deal on the non boost https://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/hope-pro-4-rear-hub-32-hole
  6. Fully agree, the speed you get up to on some of those trails will send you into orbit if you don't squash. It's not all bad tho, the gulley which we didn't ride is perfect for high speed jumping...more of that wouldnt go unappreciated.
  7. Thanks! Now I know to take the faircape loop next time, pity TygerbergMTB hasn updated their site
  8. Annual is gonna cost you R30.90 per day on your 3 week trip...no brainer IMO. Anyone know if there are plans to update the trail maps? None of the hoogekraal stuff is on there-makes it complicated planning a ride
  9. Ja, I'm on my second e*thirteen rear wheel on my Capra. The first ones ratchet cracked in half, the internal teeth-not the freehub body. It was warrateed. The new hub was throwing the chain off the cassette because the freehub... wasn't free. Took it to the shop and they loosened it up...was ok for a while. Just had a major service at another shop and it's throwing the chain again.
  10. Doesn't Steilte have a couple of big ones?
  11. Anything less than 2bar is asking for **** at Helderkruin! Looked like an awesome race, sorry to have missed it.
  12. Jonkershoek is sublime, can't understand your attitude at all. But congratulations on going on a very long ride, thanks for sharing.
  13. Ah man that is too cool!! Don't know if I'm more excited about a national series or a HAKAHANA DH TRACK...definitely the DH track..damn that's gonna be fun
  14. Did you hit him, or did he hit you? Simple.
  15. Yeah, stanchion diameter really is just an unquestionable benefit of recent progress...I had a 32mm 150 sektor...that thing bounced and flexed where-ever it wanted and I had to follow
  16. More like, say you are camping at trails far from town, or are at a stage race...or even if a tire dies on you during a race and you have spares in the car. Point being, I can see where it would be convenient. If you already have a compressor or the correct valve adaptor to make a mess at the garage, then don't buy it. It's just annoying how the first response to any new product is negative on these sites.
  17. And obviously mtb's never go anywhere there isn't a petrol station right? No mtber really likes getting away from city, really just a useless product.
  18. Daggers are the business! I comfortable wear mine for >3hrs and for DH days, but maybe the Flows are even better for long distance
  19. Nor sure if they're problem solver clamps but my bike came with one clamp for the shifter, brake lever AND the dropper. so even with a lockout instead he will be smiling
  20. Please sir http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/oakley-radar-ev-path-9208-06 or http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/oakley-radar-ev-path-9208-20
  21. YT Jeffsy, there's even discounts on at the moment if I'm not mistaken! Never mind..I see you have to have carbon.
