But i did take a few turns very wide (just to give the other cyclist a fair chance)

First time I did the OFM and haven't raced in a long time. Windy but enjoyed being back.

The distance and average speed make absolutely no difference to your seeding! Only your (and the winner's) time. They could make the distance 700 furlongs and you would still get the same seeding!

seeing the fee they asked per rider' it does matter

if it was for free - maybe not that much

 

if I paid for something - and it is not correct - yes it does matter

And damn them! You want your extra 8kms you paid for!!! Don't ever do an MTB race 'cos they are REALLY shorter than advertised and they don't give pro-rata discounts... :-(

It just needs to be right. I wanna see my correct averages etc. I have built up a profile on Racetec's site of more than 30 races. If they really wanna tick me off then go ahead and start publishing errors.

 

How would you feel if you finish the comrades and on your medal it states 55km run well done.............
