Anybody know the weight of the Axis AR30 frame?

Yes, I'm picking it up today. Great price for an entry level bike. Might be a good idea just to lift some of the carbon bikes at the store to compare.

The difference between carbon and alu isn't only weight.

It's more about stiffness and ride quality.

That said, some alu frames are still great.!

I wouldn't say it's entry level either, as entry level frames won't have a Deddacai carbon fork..

I weighed it yesterday. Not very scientific so bear with me.

 

I used an electronic bathroom scale. Weighed myself and then myself again while holding the bike. Subtracting the two I got to 8.9kg, which was a lot less than I was expecting.

 

It included a computer, saddle bag, with two tubes and a multi-tool with a pump, however those together weigh like nothing.
