Azonic Posted November 10, 2012 Share Rock Shox Sid R6Khttp://www.cwcycles....l-air-29er-2012 Don't waste money on a R6k SID. The Reba's of today have the same technology as last year's SIDs, and weight only TWO GRAMS more than a SID. So you can get away with a +/- R4k Reba RL rather. Witkop Posted November 11, 2012 Share www.on-one.co.uk The on-one inbred was voted the best 29" in BritianIf you don't like steel their SCAND-AL is also good in Aluand finaly you can go for the lurcher in carbon. You can buy the frame or a frame set or the complete bikes directly from them.
markmad Posted November 11, 2012 Share I think the 29 vs 26 is a little over rated to be honest ,I have a 29er and ride with those still on 26" and would say it’s a personal preference thing instead of better or worse . But if the money is burning a hole in your pocket why don’t you consider a HT 29er then you have best of both .Scott 920 or even 910, I instead bought a Giant xtc 0 (2012) aluminium frame (personal preference) which by the way weighs the same as the 920 at 11kg’s in STD trim with a rather heavy wheel set. Overlord Posted November 11, 2012 Share Giant XTC Composite.Specialized = Golf. Everyone has one.Momsen = Good ChoiceScott = Neutral on these bikes.Pyga = Just don't know.Niner = Drool worthy The comments above is my personal feeling and does not reflect negatively on any of the Brands.
