Spinning

Hi i'm a new hubber and need some advice from the more experienced riders out there.

I am competing in my third 94.7 this year but have not been on my bike for the last six weeks

due to two broken hands from a motorbike accident.Incedentely my cast came off yesterday.

My only training has been spinning 1 hour and jogging 5 to 10 km's everyday.

Can i still ride and complete the race comfortably, or give it a miss?

I'd give it a miss, due to your casts just having come off and not the lack of riding, as it's only been a few weeks off the bike. The race may well be wet looking at the forecast and you surely don't want to come down.. Heal properly and live to fight again next year..

Put a chair next to the route somewhere and exercise your new wrists with a couple of cold ones...

As long as you reset your goals and not race beyond your capability, it can be a real confidence-builder.

Maybe go out for fun only...
